1. ELITESINGLES review: summary

ELITESINGLES is a highly successful European dating service, which expanded to Australia in 2013. In some countries it is also known under the brand eDarling. The dating site focuses its activities on well educated and intelligent singles (elite singles), which are looking for a lasting love relationship.

Apparently, ELITESINGLES is valued for its high quality matching. In order to verify this, we signed up on the Australian version of ELITESINGLES looking for a perfect female match. We decided to not only test the algorithm, but also evaluate all the other service components of this dating site in order to see whether ELITESINGLES is worth the money or not.

2. ELITSINGLES practical test

ELITESINGLES is a dating site that focuses on matching elite singles based on psychological traits. For this reason the registration process takes a bit longer than on any other regular dating site.

We could complete the test within 20 minutes. During this time about 280 questions are presented to you, which are mainly to be answered using a rating scale from 1 to 7 („Doesn’t apply at all“, to „completely applicable“).

Once you have finished the questionnaire you will be asked to upload a profile picture and then you can start your ELITESINGLES adventure. While you upload your profile pictures the system calculates some relevant partner suggestions. By the way: the majority of ELITESINGLES members is over 30 years old.

You can immediately start contacting some of the elite singles suggested to you by the system. However, as a free ELITESINGLES member you will experience limitations. This applies for instance to the number of messages you can send and the number of partner suggestions you receive on a daily basis. Furthermore, the profile pictures are always blurred, if you’re a non-paying member.

First date after 2 weeks

On day 1 we contacted 10 different women and received 3 replies within the next 24 hours. We continued an intense conversation with one of the ladies which resulted in a date after 2 weeks.

Some more dates followed in the next weeks. Not all matches were perfect, but this would be expecting too much. Our experience was as follows: If you meet 10 girls, you will like 3 of them. Increase your chances with a verified profile

The ID verification is a very useful feature on ELTIESINGLES. And of course we would consider this useful on any other dating site. In order to get an icon next to your profile which indicates that you are a real user, you need to send a high quality photo of the front and back of your valid ID to the ELITESINGLES customer service. Our experience shows that the likelihood to get contacted is much higher if you’re a verified user.
